1. What is Eureka?
Eureka is a contest where people submit their best fundraising ideas and the best idea gets a $2,000 prize.
2. What do you mean by fundraising idea?
This means anything from a social media campaign, to creating a blog or a KickStarter page. It can be selling tamales or asking your family to sponsor your college semester. The sky is the limit.
3. What idea will win?
The winning fundraising idea will be one that anybody can implement regardless of their fundraising experience, that will help students raise enough money to pay for college tuition and that is innovative and creative.
4. Who can apply?
ANYONE! The contest is open to any and everybody in the community.
5. What is “The Pitch?”
The top 5 ideas will be selected and the people that came up with them will present them at an event that will take place on June 27, 2013.
6. How do I submit my idea?
All you have to do is write your ideas in a 1-2 page word document and send them to firstname.lastname@example.org. Your idea can be written in essay form, it can be a series of bullets or any other format.
7. When is the deadline?
June 8, 2013 at 5 p.m.
